Intermountain District is wanting to make sure that all adults working with minors in youth ministry have background checks. We don't need to run a separate background check for everyone involved in the meet, but we want to make sure that any adults coaching or officiating are up to date on their background checks with their church/district. So there is a question asking about that as you set up your church profile.
We will be providing lodging either at Nampa First Church or a nearby church in town. Any adult staying at the church (even if they're a spectator) needs to have a background check. If you choose to stay at a hotel, do not check the "Overnight Stay" box when registering. Only check that box if you'll be staying at the church.
On Intermountain District, we're a bit weird in that we quiz with 5 quizzers on seats at a time. Since we're hosting this invitational, we will still keep that rule. So you can get some 5-seat team practice in to prepare for that if you want. Just one of our little quirks
In the registration process there is a question for Chaper Memory. We also have prizes for memorizing a chapter. If a quizzer recites a chapter to their coach between quiz meets, that quizzer gets a goodie bag at the next meet.
